What you notice in your organization most positive?
You have the opportunity to help shape.
What particularly negative?
The communication does not really there.
What should be agreed in advance with this important organization?
You do agree in addition to the usual regulations really nothing special.
How did you prepare yourself together with your organization on your bet (culture, social work, personal contact, etc.)?
Prior to the use of it a personal interview with the project manager and I received some information sheets (with respect to what you bring, insurance, ect.)
What organized There was meetings with other civil servants and former, employees, etc.?
There was an event where I could talk to former civil servants of the organization.
How long did the whole preparation to your departure?

The extent was the course?
The course lasted about 8 weeks and was held by a competent (but also very strict ^ ^) teacher in Romania.
Accommodation and meals were paid for, but beyond that there were none wages or pocket money.

Man makes almost everything which is obtained as follows:
help in the budget, courses for children, translations, evening activities for the children. From time to time to do some projects that makes the whole thing interesting.
What say you had when dividing your applications?
I have introduced their own ideas for activities and could also put them. Of course I had to do hard work sometimes, but you just have to accept.
Have you used your skills accordingly?
Yes, defenitiv. Was very happy with it.
How was the contact with your personal supervisor on site?
I got along with the managers on the ground very well .... There Were So in that respect no problems.
As discussed your problems, concerns, ideas, etc.?
I've been there, felt well supported, so if I had problems were also solved in most cases.

What words can you recommend the organization?
I would do everything again exactly the same (civil service, foreign, etc.) - others only do so when an organization. I have met wonderful people, another culture, an interesting country and a new language. I am convinced that you will make these great experiences as well on another project - but without many problems (financial, supervision, working environment, etc.).
What you notice in your organization most positive?

... the difference between the image of the organization in the media and the reality is unfortunately very high. Lack of Recognition of the organization for the work of many volunteers.
What should be agreed in advance with this important organization?
leave, financial support (travel expenses, pocket money, etc.), how often you are picked up from the airport / train station (arrival, departure, leave), working hours, including weekends.
cooperation with Concordia, there was neither in Austria nor spot a real preparation. I would have liked a little in the foreign country, imported the foreign culture. cooperation in agriculture (vegetables) with Romanian young people. Design of computer and German classes with children, adolescents and adults. Assisting in the management of a children's workshop (work instruction). Translation work.
What say you had when dividing your applications?
The breakdown on the various locations (of the farm children, social center, Moldova, ...) No one was asked by those concerned. In my duties on the farm I could fit my needs - sometimes they were taken into account.
Have you used your skills accordingly?
I completed before use, a HAK and came to me before about not really used properly, as my main occupation was in agriculture and this work (especially in winter) was not really demanding.
My "official" advisor, I get a full 12 months, only to face a few times. A conversation about my activities, ideas, etc. took place. For workers on the farm of the contact was more bad than good. So it happened, for example, not only once, that my supervisor had just disappeared for several days and no one knew where or how long.
There have been several attempts to set a much-needed employees who are civil servants and volunteers takes care of us. These attempts failed but permanent.

For me, very disappointing. The delivery of community service reports worked perfect. In my questions to the Interior Ministry (in terms of Leave, promotion, ...) I had 2 months (!) For a reply (any copied paragraphs) wait (despite repeated contacting the relevant office director). The Home Office was therefore looking for any help.

What were your main tasks on the ground?
oversaw the first 6 weeks after enrollment in a retirement home in Sibiu, I have some old people in the villages Großau and Neppendorf. I took the blood pressure and helped with minor household chores. Since I also had a craft apprenticeship, I worked in the castle fell in Großau and supported the local caretaker. I worked with in the construction of the Landler museum and took part in Neppendorf by car part of the parish on buses courier services. The actions of the Landlerhilfe were also supported by me so all in all, I perceive little of everything.
