What words can you recommend the organization?
I would do everything again exactly the same (civil service, foreign, etc.) - others only do so when an organization. I have met wonderful people, another culture, an interesting country and a new language. I am convinced that you will make these great experiences as well on another project - but without many problems (financial, supervision, working environment, etc.).

... the difference between the image of the organization in the media and the reality is unfortunately very high. Lack of Recognition of the organization for the work of many volunteers.
What should be agreed in advance with this important organization?
leave, financial support (travel expenses, pocket money, etc.), how often you are picked up from the airport / train station (arrival, departure, leave), working hours, including weekends.
preparation
How did you prepare yourself together with your organization on your bet (culture, social work, personal contact, etc.)? cooperation with Concordia, there was neither in Austria nor spot a real preparation. I would have liked a little in the foreign country, imported the foreign culture. This was unfortunately not the case. Even worse, I found it but it was not even deemed necessary to us a small introduction to social work to give our future tasks. Sufficient time would definitely have been there, but unfortunately there has clearly gehapert at the service.
The only personal contact before the departure was in the form of a half-hour meeting with the project manager in Vienna. What was

None at all - either before, during and after the stay abroad.
How long did the whole preparation to your departure?
Besides some emails, there was no preparation.
The extent was the course?
The course was held in Bucharest and had a total of 2 hours per day (September and October). Despite the sometimes questionable teaching methods I had acquired after 2 months of good basic skills.

particularly disturbed me was that - despite my collaboration for 1 year - partially begging for money or had incurred costs for some specific employees were not simply be refunded (local travel, needed medicines, ...). For others, the purse was sitting relaxed.

What were your main tasks on the ground? cooperation in agriculture (vegetables) with Romanian young people. Design of computer and German classes with children, adolescents and adults. Assisting in the management of a children's workshop (work instruction). Translation work.
What say you had when dividing your applications?
The breakdown on the various locations (of the farm children, social center, Moldova, ...) No one was asked by those concerned. In my duties on the farm I could fit my needs - sometimes they were taken into account.
Have you used your skills accordingly?
I completed before use, a HAK and came to me before about not really used properly, as my main occupation was in agriculture and this work (especially in winter) was not really demanding.

How was the contact with your personal supervisor on site? My "official" advisor, I get a full 12 months, only to face a few times. A conversation about my activities, ideas, etc. took place. For workers on the farm of the contact was more bad than good. So it happened, for example, not only once, that my supervisor had just disappeared for several days and no one knew where or how long.
There have been several attempts to set a much-needed employees who are civil servants and volunteers takes care of us. These attempts failed but permanent.

The meetings and trips were organized by Romania of our civil servants and volunteers alone. A 3-day trip with Romanian children and adolescents to Sibiu was organized by Concordia. was
What it offers and tips for your leisure time?
None. The region was explored on their own.
How was your contact with the Austrian Ministry of Interior?
For me, very disappointing. The delivery of community service reports worked perfect. In my questions to the Interior Ministry (in terms of Leave, promotion, ...) I had 2 months (!) For a reply (any copied paragraphs) wait (despite repeated contacting the relevant office director). The Home Office was therefore looking for any help.
